Display Garden Field Day

The University of Connecticut is will sponsoring a Display Garden Field Day to be held at the Storrs campus on August 15, 2003 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

The program schedule is as follows:

1:30 pm Registration and self-guided greenhouse tour.
2:00 to 3:00 pm Landscape IPM Walking Tour
Leanne Pundt and Donna Ellis, Extension Educators, University of Connecticut
(session limited to 30 people)
(1 pesticide recertification credit for ornamentals and turf and private applicators)
3:00 to 4:00 pm Display Garden Tour

Tim Abbey, CT Agricultural Experiment Station.

All activities are held outdoors. For the walking tours, dress for walking. Please bring a clipboard and a pen or pencil.

Directions to the Program:
Check in at the Floriculture Greenhouse for Registration: The display garden is adjacent to the floriculture greenhouse and all tours will originate from the garden.

From: I-84. Exit 68 to Route 195.Travel south on Route 195 about 6 miles to the University. You will come to the intersection of Rt. 195 and Rt. 32 after approximately 4 miles; then the intersection of Rt. 195 and Rt. 44 –known as Mansfield Four Corners- after another 2 miles). The Floriculture Greenhouse is on your right (opposite the yellow barn) as you enter the UConn campus.
