GRAPE IPM UPDATE
March 9,
2009

I have just received (Sunday evening, March 8, 2009!) word from DEP.  For those of you that attended the meetings at Walker Road and Paradise Hill, those meetings will be worth 3 pesticide credits (1.5 for the IPM and 1.5 for the New Grower program) each.  I had signups at Walker Road, but will require signatures for those who desire credits at Paradise Hill.  I have the attendence lists from both meetings and DEP has confirmed they will accept credits for those meetings, but I will still need your signatures and license numbers.  I will also have to hand out proof of attendence forms you need to submit when renewing your license with DEP.  Many of you indicated you will be attending more than one upcoming meeting so please make a point of seeing me so we can take care of the Walker Road and Paradise Hill details.  If you aren't going to attend any of the upcoming meetings please email me and I will arrange to meet you somewhere during the year to give you your form.

Meetings with only the IPM portion of the program (Jon Edwards and Connecticut Valley) will only earn 1.5 credits.  This is a lot of work for the host sites so I appreciate their contributions to these educational efforts.

Thanks for your patience.
