Spray black swallowwort vines with glyphosate or triclopyr in late summer to early fall.

BRUSH-B-GON [triclopyr (8%)]: 4 fl. oz./gal

Foliar sprays or cut stump treatments with glyphosate or triclopyr are effective.

Poison Ivy Toxicodendron radicans)

Caution must be taken to avoid skin contact with any part of the poison ivy plant or its oils that may contaminate clothing. Small vines can be controlled with sprays of triclopyr (throughout growing season) or glyphosate (best activity in late summer to early fall). Cut large vines that are wrapped around trees, and apply glyphosate or triclopyr to freshly cut surfaces.
