2010-2011 Vegetable Management Guide - New England Region
Now Available!

The updated 2010-2011 New England Vegetable Management Guide is now available in hardcopy.

We added pictures to the last version of the guide which made it so popular that it sold out in less than a year. So, for 2009, the guide has only been available on the web at www.nevegetable.org. You'll be happy to know that the pictures of all the pests covered in the guide (weeds, insects and diseases) are back in the new edition. We may not be able to afford to include the pictures in the guide next time around, so order now.  Of course, the lists of pesticides for each crop and pest have been updated, according to the new labels, and there has been additional information added about the minor pests for each crop. The guide has a wealth of information on vegetable crop production and pest management for both seedlings in the greenhouse and for 44 crops in the field.

The new guide sells for $20, plus shipping and handling, and is available from: University of Connecticut, Office of Communications, 1376 Storrs Road, U-4035, Storrs, CT 06269-4035. Make your check payable to the “University of Connecticut.”  Contact Lori.Barlow@uconn.edu for more information.
