  • leaves small relative to other E. fortunei forms
  • buds imbricate, pointed, divergent
  • stems green, smooth
  • flowers and fruit absent, this is a juvenile form
  • habit is a low-growing, spreading small shrub
  • plant usually has a groundcover habit
  • plant may climb as a vine (with aerial roots) if a support is present
  • plant may have reverted branches which display larger leaves and flowers/fruit (round capsule with orange seed)
