Located on the east side of the Ratcliff Hicks Bldg.
- needles arranged 5 per fascicle, stiff, somewhat twisted
- needles distinct blue-green color, short, curved, smooth margins
- buds oval, not sticky, yellow-brown, small
- stems smooth, brown to gray
- cones short (2"-4" long), often very abundant even on
young plants
- habit differs from plant to plant, often very irregular and non-symmetric
- plant is usually a small to medium tree
