Located near back corner of Arjona Building.
- leaves alternate, large to 2' long, pinnately compound
- leaves with 12-24 leaflets, dark green
- leaflets lanceolate, pointed, with serrated margin; fragrant
- buds round, gray, with hairs; often superposed above leaf scar
- twigs thick, coarse, gray
- flowers greenish, inconspicuous, in mid-spring
- fruit is a nut, rounded, light yellow/green
- fruit resembles a small tennis ball
- habit is a medium to large tree with a rounded crown
- bark is gray-brown, with vertical ridges
