Located on the northeast side of the Family Studies bldg.

  • needles long with pointed tip
  • needles dark green above, lighter stomatal lines underneath
  • needles cover stem densely and often point forward
  • stem tips yellow, with ridges/grooves between needles
  • leaf scars rounded like "suction cups"
  • cones disintegrate with maturity and not seen on ground
