Located on the northeast side of Hawley Armory.

  • needles long (2"-3"), chalky blue color
  • needles radiate around stem, tip rounded
  • needle color similar on top and bottom of leaves
  • leaf scars round, like "suction cup"
  • cones disintegrate when mature, not found on ground
  • form is pyramidal and dense, even with age
  • young bark smooth with resin blisters, forms plates with age
