Located in line of trees across the street from Budds building
(multi-trunked specimen).
- needles .5"-1" long, blue-green, stiff but not sharply
pointed
- tree lacks pendulous branchlets
- stem color light brown/yellowish
- twigs often have damage from Eastern Spruce Gall Adelgid (brown,
thickened regions)
- cones small, 2", bullet-shaped, smooth bracts
- habit relatively stiff/rigid with horizontal side branches
