Located on northwest side of Wood Hall.

  • needles .5"-1" long, pointed, stiff
  • needles dark green, not sharply pointed
  • main branches ascend slightly from trunk, tips upright
  • branchlets hang straight down from side branches of mature plants
  • cones very large, 4"-6" long, light brown when mature
  • cone bracts have wavy, blunt ends
  • habit similar to P. omorika, but much wider
