  • needles short, .5", very thin and fine-textured
  • needles borne densely on twigs
  • needle color bright green in summer, yellowish cast in winter
  • habit dense, tight pyramidal shape, "soft" look and feel
  • cones not seen on this cultivar
  • branches may revert to species-type with larger growth
  • form of cultivar is dwarf relative to species
