horse facility).
- leaves awl-like needles, spirally-arranged on stems
- leaves four-angled and curve inwards toward stem
- leaves deep green in summer, winter color brown/green
- habit pyramidal/conical, more open with age
- texture soft and "soft" looking from distance
- bark orange/brown, shredding in vertical strips
- fruit small, globular cones produced at tips of growth
