Located on corner of Budds Bldg by garden area.
- leaves deciduous, elliptic, to 4" long
- leaves medium green, aromatic when crushed
- buds alternate, light brown, imbricate
- flower buds clustered along stems
- stems smooth, gray
- flowers bright pink, early spring, before leaves emerge
- fruit is a brown capsule
