The University of Massachusetts has developed three campus plant walks that use the landscape for learning purposes. The most unique and best plant material on the Amherst campus can be found by viewing the designated loops. The walks were designed by Jack Ahern and Hongbing Tang of the Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning Department. This project is sponsored by The Campus Beautification Committee.
